The borough of North Catasauqua intends to take full advantage of summer with fun-filled activities and outdoor concerts.
The season began with the May 30 opening of the snack stand at North Catasauqua William J. Albert Memorial Park, 701 Grove St.
The recreation committee is expecting to host its annual summer program 9 a.m.-noon June 19-Aug. 4 at the park.
The first outdoor concert at the park will be held July 12 and will feature country band Steel Creek. The rain date is July 13.
The concerts will continue with Shark Sandwich making an appearance July 27, with a rain date of Aug. 3. The final concert of the summer will be The Clap Aug. 11.
The last planned summer activity will be the park family night, with wiffle ball under the lights Aug. 9.
