Ruth B. Zanders, 93, of Allentown, died May 14, 2023. She was the wife of the late Bruce W. Zanders.

Born in Seiples Station, she was a daughter of the late Ralph C. and Hattie R. (Derhammer) Weidner.

She attended Allentown High School.

She was a duplication technician for 37 years for Lehigh County. She and her late husband owned and operated Donut King Bakery, Allentown, in the 1960s and the Pennsylvania House, Walnutport, in the 1950s.

She was a member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, Whitehall.

She is survived by two sons, B. Ted and his wife Sandy of Shillington and Dennis of Palmerton; two daughters, Suzanne Miller of Lehighton and Penny and her husband Tom Zuber of Orefield; a brother, Richard Weidner and his wife Valance of Northampton; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four nephews; and four nieces.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Helen Schaffer and Doris Brezack, both of Allentown; and a son-in-law, David Miller.
