Moore Township: Flea market to be held May 27

Christ United Church of Christ, Little Moore, 913 S. Mink Road, Danielsville, will be holding a flea market and yard sale 8 a.m.-1 p.m. May 27. The rain date is June 3.

There is a cost to have a spot. The setup time will be 7 a.m.

The next Moore Township Historical Commission meeting will be held 7 p.m. May 30. Contact the township office for the location of the meeting.

Planning is underway for the commission’s annual Octoberfest event, which will begin 5 p.m. in the social hall at Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Company, 2718 Mountain View Drive. At this time, the exact date is to be determined.

The next Chapman Borough Council meeting is 7 p.m. June 5 at Chapman Borough Hall, 1401 Main St.

Moore Township Board of Supervisors next meets 6 p.m. June 6 at the municipal building, 2491 Community Drive.

Moore Township Land and Environmental Protection Board will next meet 7 p.m. June 12 at the recreation pavilion, 635 English Road.

At 7 p.m. June 15, Moore Township Recreation Committee will meet at the municipal building, 2491 Community Drive.

There will be a public hearing regarding Trach Road 6 p.m. June 22 at the municipal building.

Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, celebrates its 300th anniversary in 2023. A special worship will be held June 25.
