·Lehigh Valley Zoo needs volunteers 10 a.m.-3 p.m. November to March and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. April to October. Volunteers to help further the zoo’s mission of conservation and education as a docent, crafts and activities volunteer, clean team member, or in other volunteer positions. Minimum age 13.

·Miller-Keystone Blood Center has many volunteer opportunities available in Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton. Someone needs to give out the snacks with a smile while monitoring the donors and making sure they are doing well after donating.

·Zoellner Arts Center needs a volunteer usher on a show-to-show basis, mostly nights and weekends. Responsibilities include greeting patrons, scanning tickets, assisting patrons to their seats, and being trained on the center’s safety and evacuation protocols. There will be standing for extended periods of time (1-2 hours), and the ability to move freely up and down stairs is preferred.
