Ralph Grassi, 83, of Manheim, died peacefully on May 8, 2023, in the Hospice and Community Care Inpatient Center in Mount Joy.

The loving husband of Joy E. (Poulette) Grassi, the couple celebrated 60 years of marriage in December 2022.

Born in Paterson, N.J., he was a son of the late Ralph and Anna Grassi.

He was a pastor at Northern Valley Evangelical Free Church, now Grace Community Church, New Tripoli, and Newportville Community Church, Newportville, for many years until retirement.

After stepping down from the pulpit, he continued to share his love of the Savior at every opportunity.

In addition to his devoted wife, he is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Joy (Arthur) Woods, with whom he last resided; sons Jonathan David (Claudette) Grassi of Lancaster, Ralph Timothy (Cathy) Grassi of Branson, Mo., and Andrew Thomas (Janel) Grassi of Springfield, Mo.; grandchildren English Rose Kirsch, Amanda Harrold, Joseph Grassi and Jessica Anne Grassi; great-granddaughter Juliette Kirsch; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his six siblings.
