Mary S. Wavrek, 98, of Allentown, died May 9, 2023, in Cedarbrook Senior Care and Rehabilitation, South Whitehall.

She was the wife of the late Raymond E. Wavrek.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Henry G. and Bertha (Bornmann) Sibley.

A 1943 graduate of Allentown High School, she was a bookkeeper at Allentown Paint Mfg. Co. from 1953-80.

She also worked at PP&L from 1943-52.

She was a member of the former St. Michael’s Lutheran Church and currently a member of Nativity Lutheran Church, both in Allentown.

Her survivors include nieces and nephews and their families.

She was predeceased by her brothers William and Richard Sibley and by her sister Doris Fretz.
