The academic and activities awards were held May 15 and May 16 was the senior college athlete signing ceremony in Rockne Hall, where 20 Viking scholar athletes were congratulated on continuing their athletic and academic journeys.
May 18 will include Ascension Thursday Mass and awards for seniors and those who participated in the Day-Maurin Service Society.
Finally, student council inductions for the rising sophomores, juniors and seniors will take place May 18.

Senior exams will take place May 22-25. If a class contains both juniors and seniors, juniors may also take their exam during this time.
Seniors, please be aware of all dates for important end-of-year events.
All academic, retreat and service hour requirements must be completed to take part in graduation.
All senior lockers must be emptied by May 24.
Seniors will receive their caps and gowns May 31 in Masson Auditorium starting 10 a.m. Each senior must pick up their own cap and gown at their respective time. Only the cords distributed with your cap and gown may be worn. If you are unable to come at your assigned time, contact the finance office to make alternate arrangements.
Seniors will receive Baccalaureate and graduation tickets in their homerooms during the week of May 22 or at their cap and gown pickup. Their envelope will include four tickets to Baccalaureate and 10 tickets to graduation. Any unused tickets must be returned to the main office.
If you wish to acquire extra tickets, you must write a request to the main office by May 30.

A varsity jacket night will be held 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. May 18 at ACCHS. Jacket samples will be available to determine sizing. However, students should wear or bring a hoodie to ensure they order the proper size.
If you already earned a varsity letter, bring it with you, but a letter may be added after the jacket is ordered.
Students in the marching band, theater, chorus and non-sports clubs are also encouraged to buy a jacket.
Cash, check or Venmo will be accepted, but credit cards will not be. If you are unable to attend the varsity jacket night, place your order by contacting suzannemartinesposito@gmail.com or call 908-763-0890. The order form is currently available in the weekly online newsletter.
The student counseling office is holding part two of its parenting teens presentation 6:30 p.m. May 18. If your student will ride the bus during the 2023-2024 school year, a new “Request for Transportation Form” must be filled out for the upcoming school year.
Any family wanting to participate in busing by their school district must complete a transportation form as soon as possible.
Forms are available on the school website at www.acchs.info/transportation. Email Mr. Michener at transportation@acchs.info with any questions.
Please come support our seniors at the track and field senior night May 24. It will include the concluding picnic and senior send-off at Lone Lane Park. Our track and field athletes have been very successful this season, including breaking several school records.
Thank you to the Viking Nation for always cheering on our athletes.
