Mary Ellen A. Speer, 89, of Allentown, formerly of Old Zionsville, died May 4, 2023, at Luther Crest, Allentown. She was the loving wife of the late John J. Speer with whom she shared 64 years of marriage. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Herbert J. and Annabelle B. (Lichty) Moyer.

She was a graduate of Allen High School in 1952.

She worked in international sales and the distribution center at Air Products, retiring in 1992.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Allentown.

She is survived by daughters, Carol S. and her husband, Thomas Hindle, Barbara A.; grandchildren, Sarah Hindle, Matthew Brown and Brian Brown.

Services will be held at a later date.
