St. John’s United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St., will be having a basket social 4-8 p.m. May 19 and 8 a.m.-1 p.m. May 20.

There will be plenty of items for everyone.

Fullerton American Legion Post 367 Auxiliary will be asking for donations for poppies 9 a.m.-3 p.m. May 26 at Redner’s Warehouse Market and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. May 27 at Walmart in Whitehall.

Proceeds will benefit the American Legion.

Whitehall Active Community Center, 2301 Pine St., will be holding its next bingo May 28.

Note the start time of the cash bingo has changed to 1 p.m., with doors opening noon.

Bingo will continue with tricky tray, 50/25/25 raffle, piggy number, lightning game, etc.

There will be refreshments available for purchase.

Bring a nonperishable food item for the Whitehall Food Pantry.

The Fullerton American Legion Post 367 will hold events May 29 for Memorial Day.

Services start 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 609 Windsor St. The group moves to the memorial across from the Post, 609 Fullerton Ave., for 9:30 a.m. before going to the Post 10 a.m.

Services conclude with the joint veterans program 11:30 a.m. at the township municipal building, 3219 MacArthur Road.
