Rose M. Gallo, 101, of Allentown, died peacefully May 4, 2023, with her son by her side, while a guest at Cedarbrook Senior Care and Rehabilitation, South Whitehall.

Born in Hazleton, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (LaRose) Frask,

She and her late husband, Angelo Gallo, shared 58 years of marriage until his death in 2001.

A 1939 graduate of Hazleton High School, she was a devoted wife and mother, and will be missed by all who knew her.

Her survivors include a son, Joseph, of Allentown; and sisters Marie Frask and Dolores Gombeda, both of Hazleton; and an extended family.

She was predeceased by nine siblings.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Fr. John M. Gibbons 10 a.m. May 11 in St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave., Whitehall.

Her family will receive guests beginning at 9 a.m. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Whitehall.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cedarbrook Residents Activity Fund, 350 S. Cedarbrook Road, Allentown, PA 18104.
