The East Penn Conference lacrosse tournaments are set to take place next week with Freedom’s boys team qualifying.
The boys tournament will have Parkland (15-2) as the top-seed, but the next three seeds, Easton (12-5), Emmaus (12-5) and Freedom (14-2), weren’t settled as of Press deadlines, as they each had 7-2 conference marks.
The Pates have had a mixed bag against all three teams mentioned, losing to Parkland 12-8 and Emmaus 12-5 in the past month for their only losses of the season.
Freedom defeated 17-13 this season as well.
In the girls tournament, Freedom (10-6) missed out on the fourth seed in a tie breaker to Parkland (6-9), as both teams had 5-3 conference marks. Parkland defeated Freedom 16-15 on April 25 to get the advantage over the Pates.
Pleasant Valley (18-0) will be the top-seed in the league tournament, while Emmaus (14-4) and Easton (11-5) round out the final four.
