Sheckler Elementary School is seeking a full-time secretary for a 12-month position, beginning Aug. 1. The secretary will be responsible for day-to-day operations within the school’s office. The position’s schedule will run 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays with a 30-minute paid lunch.

Catasauqua is offering a free youth football camp for students in kindergarten-seventh grade. The last day for camp will be noon-1:30 p.m. May 21 at Alumni Field.

Students will be celebrating at the end of May with the Fun Day events.

Second grade will begin 9 a.m. May 24, and third grade will follow noon. Kindergarten will celebrate starting 9 a.m. May 25, and first grade will follow noon. Fourth grade’s day will be held May 25.
