Common Bond performs May 12. Stereotype performs May 19. A concert by Social Call is scheduled for May 26.

Doors, bar and kitchen all open 5 p.m. The bands perform 6-10 p.m.

A tire drop-off will be held 10 a.m.-2 p.m. May 13. Drop off up to six tires, with proof of Coplay residency, in the upper parking lot at Coplay Parkway.

Tires accepted include those for cars, pickup trucks and vans. Large truck, ATV, motorcycle and bicycle tires are not accepted.

The Coplay Wednesday night summer series continues 6-9 p.m. at the borough’s Community Plaza, North Second and Chestnut streets.

Steve Brosky and Jimmy Myers are set to entertain May 17. A Pair of Aardvarks plays May 24.

St. John’s Lutheran Church’s 150th anniversary will be celebrated May 21. Worship begins 10:30 a.m., with Lutheran Bishop Christopher deForest giving the sermon at the church, 18 S. Third St. There is a gala luncheon noon at Coplay Saengerbund.

Tickets are needed for attend. On May 8, sales ended.

St. John’s Lutheran Church has a barbecue chicken pickup dinner 4-5:30 p.m. June 10. Dinner is chicken with barbecue sauce, baked potato, corn, applesauce, fruit cup, roll and dessert.

Cost is a freewill donation.
