Bernadine Kurzeja, 86, of Northampton, died May 6, 2023, at Parkland Manor. She was the wife of the late John Kurzeja.

Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Stephen A. and Anna M. (Zadzora) Molchany.

She graduated as a registered nurse from Allentown Hospital School of Nursing in 1969.

She retired from Day-Timers Inc. where she worked for many years.

She was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Northampton.

She was a member of the Ladies Pennsylvania Slovak Catholic Union.

She is survived by two sons, John and wife Tami and Steven and wife Natalie; three grandchildren, Emily, Brandon and Logan; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Marie and Elaine; and two brothers, Bernard and Richard.

There will be a calling hour 9-10 a.m., followed by a funeral service 10 a.m., May 12 at the funeral home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton.
