The Parkland High School boys volleyball team has been unbeaten in match play and in the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference over the first month of the regular season.

A couple of days after a fifth-place finish in the Koller Classic at Central York High School the weekend before, the Trojans got back into conference competition. They defeated Easton at home last Wednesday, April 19, in straight sets by scores of 25-9, 25-19, 25-16, and then went on the road and swept Pocono Mountain East on Friday by scores of 25-11, 25-15, 25-15.

Against the Red Rovers, Fred Patton reached double figures in kills and finished with 10, while adding two digs. Alexander Wilby and Luke Smith had nine and eight kills, respectively, with the former adding five digs.

Will Stiles recorded 35 assists, five digs, two kills and two blocks. Chase Robbins contributed seven kills, nine digs, two assists and one block.

In the win over the Cardinals, five Trojans finished with at least four kills, led by nine from Robbins, who also had seven digs. Wilby tallied six kills and four digs. Smith had five kills and two digs and both Josh Nation and Patton contributed four kills. Brady Hayward and Colby Brisendine each added two kills.

Parkland entered this week at 10-0 overall and 8-0 in the conference. Emmaus is the lone other unbeaten team in the conference, sitting at 12-0 overall and 9-0 in the EPC.

The Trojans have a full week of EPC matches. They hosted Allen this past Monday and won in straight sets and then played at Pocono Mountain West Wednesday before hosting Nazareth on Friday evening.
