Stephen “Shtip” M. Frisch, 70, of Northampton, died April 26, 2023, at home. He was the husband of the late Corliss E. (Griesemer).

Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Stephen M. and Rose M. (Geosits) Frisch.

He was a 1971 graduate of Northampton High School.

He was in the U.S. National Guard.

He worked in the cement industry. He retired as a production coordinator at Lafarge North America Inc., Whitehall.

He was a member of Queenship of Mary Church.

He was a life member of the Catholic War Veterans Post 454 and of the St. Peter and Paul Society.

He is survived by two sons, Stephen M. III and John M. and his companion Sarah; a sister, Lucille Sommers and husband Greg; two sisters-in-law, Dianne Missmer and husband Richard and Jeanette Hammel and husband Alfred; a niece; nephews; great-nieces; and great-nephews.
