Sheckler Elementary School students will be celebrating career day this month, beginning with first grade May 5.

Third grade will follow May 12, and second grade celebrates May 19.

Catasauqua Area School District Board of Education meets 7 p.m. May 9 in the board room at 201 N. 14th St.

There will be an early dismissal of 1:30 p.m. May 10.

Fourth grade’s field trip to Hrydo Mania will be May 11. There will also be a fourth-grade field trip to Hugh Moore Park May 12.

Third grade’s field trip to the George Taylor House is set for May 16.

Kindergarten registration is scheduled for May 17 and is by appointment only.

Fourth grade’s spring concert is set for 7 p.m. May 18.

Catasauqua will be offering a youth football camp, free of charge, for students in kindergarten through seventh grade. The last day for camp is noon-1:30 p.m. May 21 at Alumni Field.
