Salisbury Elementary School will have a PJ & Movie Day May 8. Each grade level will have a designated time in the gym to watch a movie. Make sure to wear your jammies, but no slippers, please.

May 9 is a busy day. The students of SES will make the short trip to Salisbury High School to walk through the district art show in the morning. In the afternoon, students in grades K-2 have field day. Lastly, the district art show is open to the public 5-8 p.m. in the high school gym.

Salisbury Middle School will have field day for its students May 10 and 11, while SES has field day for the third and fourth graders May 11. Make sure you are wearing sneakers, cool clothes and bring a water bottle.

Salisbury Township schools have an early dismissal May 12. SHS and SMS dismiss 12:15 p.m. SES dismisses 1:15 p.m.

The SHS prom will be held 7-11 p.m. May 12.

SES will hold its annual walk-a-thon for wellness May 15. Please make sure your student wears sneakers and comfortable clothes that day.

The next two T-shirt days at SES are May 5 and 19.

Are you a baseball fan? Attend Salisbury Night at the IronPigs 7:05 p.m. June 29, which is a fanny pack giveaway night. Fill out and return the registration form, found on the township website, with payment to the township building, 2900 S. Pike Ave., by May 17. The Salisbury Yard Waste Drop-off sites are open for the season. The Franko site will be open May 4, 6 and 15 and Devonshire will be open May 8, 11 and 13. As always, hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.
