Reminder: Lehigh Career & Technical Institute seniors who were eligible for the Promise Scholarship Program (as long as they reside in one of the nine participating school districts: Catasauqua, Whitehall-Coplay, Allentown, East Penn, Parkland, Northern Lehigh, Northwestern Lehigh, Salisbury and Southern Lehigh) were to have the LCCC application submitted by May 1 in order to be eligible for the scholarship. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis until funding set aside for students slated to register in fall 2023 is exhausted.
The first group of students will be funded with $100,000 of the scholarship principal for two years (four semesters).
LCCC will use annual investment earnings on the fund calculated on or before April 15 to support the scholarship in future years.
The scholarship covers up to full-time tuition and fees, less Federal Pell Grant funding, plus a $500 per semester books and supplies allowance for Federal Pell Grant recipients.
Scholarships cover fall and spring semesters only; summer or winter terms are not funded.
If awarded, the fall 2023 scholarship recipients will be notified by June 15.
