Eva Wolfer

Eva Wolfer, of Sacred Heart Senior Living in Center Valley and formerly of Whitehall, died April 29, 2023, in Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Frank J. Wolfer for 48 years.

Born in Cementon, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Buyarski) Morekin.

She was the previous co-owner and bookkeeper for Imperial Countertop Company Inc. She was earlier a teller at the former Allentown and Cement national banks, Fullerton.

She was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, where she was a member of the former Altar and Rosary Society and the Women of St. Elizabeth. She was active in the Golden Agers.

She was a gift shop volunteer at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest.

She is survived by two daughters, Kathleen M. Koch and Eileen Hanosek with husband Robert; a son, Richard F. with Cindy Ebert; six grandchildren, Lori Puliti, Ryan Hanosek, MaryKate Messler, Andrea Caruso, Erin Cox and Parker Hanosek; 10 great-grandchildren, Sean, Gabriella, Caden, Kellan, Bradley, Samuel, Emma, Luke, Oliver and Eliza; nieces; nephews; and extended family.

She was predeceased by a son, Frank; a son-in-law, Gregory J. Koch; two sisters, Irene Kokolus and Anna Rusyn; and two brothers, Peter and Stephen Morekin.

There will be a calling hour 9-10 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial 10 a.m., May 5 at the church, 618 Fullerton Ave., Whitehall, 18052.
