Emmaus Public Library to holds public input sessions May 30 and June 13

During the April 20 Upper Milford Township supervisors’ meeting, Emmaus Library Director Maryellen Kanarr reminded everyone museum passes for six Lehigh Valley area museums are available through the library.

Kanarr also detailed a new project taking place at the library.

“The library has created a team to refresh the library’s strategic framework. This plan is to engage with library patrons and other individuals, entities and leaders in the different municipalities, as well as diverse groups to find out how the library can be made better over time to meet the needs of the community it serves.”

Kanarr indicated there will be a chance for the public to provide input 10:30 a.m. to noon May 30 and 6:30-8 p.m. June 13.

In other meeting news, Troop 31 will host a used clothing drive 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 20 in the municipal building parking lot, 5671 Chestnut St.

A request by Judd Builders to extend by one year the Brookshire Subdivisions time extension was approved. The new date is June 8, 2024.

Stone Ridge Estates also received a time extension with June 15, 2024 as the new deadline.
