Q. In what grade are you currently enrolled?
A. I’m enrolled in 12th grade at Emmaus High School.
Q. Please provide the first names of your family members: parents, siblings and pets.
A. My dad is Ziad, my mom is Amy, my sister is Willow and my cat is Jasper.
Q. What is your favorite subject? Why?
A. I enjoy my science classes the most because I’m the most challenged and able to problem solve.
Q. Have you received any special awards or recognition?
A. No, not yet.
Q. Are you involved in any extracurricular activities? How has being involved in this organization impacted your high school experience?
A. I work as the arts and culture editor on the EHS newspaper, The Stinger, which has definitely been a very strong influence on my high school career.
Q. What do you consider your biggest challenge to date?
A. I think overcoming COVID-19 and still being able to put attention and effort into school has been my biggest challenge.
Q. What is your next goal after high school?
A. I hope to pursue higher education, although maybe not immediately after graduation. I’m not quite sure yet what I want to study.
Q. Whom do you admire? Why?
A. I admire one of the bike mechanics (Jorge Romero) at my old job and so many more people in the cycling world. I think they have an incredible experience with life and are always happy to share to make the world brighter for those around them.
Q. For what would you like to be remembered?
A. I like to think I’m pretty smart, so it would be great to be remembered as the guy who could always solve whatever issue was at hand.
Q. Do you have any advice for your peers?
A. Stay focused on the things that matter to you and don’t waste time worrying about things that don’t.
