Stephen C. Polczer, 82, of Bethlehem, died April 26, 2023, in his home. He was the husband of the late Theresa M. “Teri” (Sebio) Polczer for 58 years.

Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Stephen and Josephine (Merlo) Polczer.

He was a 1958 graduate of Liberty H. S.

He was in the United States Army and was stationed in Korea during the Vietnam War.

He worked for the Bethlehem Steel for most of his life until he retired at age 57

He was a member of the Lehigh Valley treasure hunters club. He was able to see the Daytona 500.

He is survived by a son, Stephen J. of Northampton; two sisters, Joanne Ellis of Bethlehem and Annemarie Seman of Lower Saucon; three grandchildren, Kathryn, Stephen and Sean; and six great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a son, David Polczer.
