It’s like I hear laughter all day.

It echoes in my ears and craves my attention.

It’s like water on a sunny day.

I never look where the sound is coming from.

If you look they’ll know.

They’ll know what exactly? I don’t know.

I always have suspicions lingering in the back of my mind.

As if I’m a magnet.

The word “magnet” is what perfectly describes it.

The way you can’t see the pull until you feel it.

The way it takes in both good and bad.

The way if you weren’t looking before it would snatch your attention.

And that’s when they know they’ve got what they wanted.
