George Rivera has cross-filed for a four-year term on the Parkland School Board.

He states with more than 20 years of management experience in a major restaurant group, he is uniquely qualified to provide much needed fiscal expertise to the board.

Rivera says raising taxes and indiscriminate spending do not equate to a better education.

“I want to provide transparency and give parents influence over their children’s education,” he said. “I want to see all children receive a solid basic education with a concentration on core curriculum.”

Rivera and his running mates together strive to “Elevate Education Not Taxes” in Parkland.
