Dena K. Dalmas, 44, of Slatington, died suddenly Monday, April 17, 2023, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg, Bethlehem.

She and her husband, Elario D. Dalmas II, were married 20 years.

Born June 6, 1978, in Allentown, she was the daughter of Dennis P. and Kathleen A. (Allen) Snyder of Orefield.

A graduate of the Allentown Business School, she was employed with the County of Lehigh since 1998, most recently in the Clerk of Courts as a civil division chief deputy.

She co-owned Dalmas Glass Designs, Slatington, with her husband.

Having a love for gardening, she was the secretary of the Lehigh Valley Orchid Society.

She formerly played softball in the Breinigsville Summer League.

She was a member of Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church, Allentown, where she attended the Women’s Bible Study Group.

In addition to her loving husband and parents, she is survived by a daughter, Evelyn D. Dalmas at home; siblings Timothy D. Snyder (Laura), and Kimberly A. Van Aken (David), all of Emmaus; maternal grandmother Virginia E. Allen of Allentown; paternal grandmother Ruth I. Snyder of Orefield; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by an infant son, Samuel Louis Dalmas.
