Coplay Public Library: Watch a movie at the library
Visit Coplay Public Library, 49 S. Fifth St., to watch a movie on our big-screen TV.
We are screening movies 1 p.m. every Saturday. The schedule includes “Murder by Death” April 29, “DC League of Superpets” May 6, “Romancing the Stone” May 13 and “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” May 20.

A Celebration of Youth event, including the Coplay Tot Lot equipment dedication ceremony, library open house and children’s block party, is scheduled for 11 a.m.-1 p.m. May 6.
There will also be a parade, drum circle, rock painting and much more.
This event is sponsored by the parks and recreation committee.
The rain date will be May 13.

Vince’s Famous Steak Sandwiches food truck is coming to Coplay! The library is sponsoring the food truck May 9 at Coplay Parkway, Second and Keefer streets. Baked goods and drinks will also be on sale.

The library’s spring basket social will be held May 13 at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 4 S. Fifth St., Coplay. The baskets will be on display at the library a week before the social.
If you would like to donate a basket or items for a basket, please drop them off at the library.

Storytime with Miss Sharon, for all ages, will be 11 a.m. May 13. A craft will follow.
All ages are welcome to attend.
No preregistration is necessary.

The library will be hosting a crocheting class 1 p.m. Wednesdays for all levels of experience. Bring your current project or start a new one.
If you don’t crochet but knit, do latch rugs or needlepoint instead, come join.

The library is helping the borough’s park and recreation committee with a fundraiser by selling lottery calendars for the month of June. Your donation will help support the pool and gives you 30 chances to win!

Need to use a computer to search for information or make copies? We have six public access computers for you to use. Just show your library card at the front desk when you come into the library.
If you don’t have a library card, it only takes a few minutes to get one. All you need is a form of ID, like a driver’s license.
Library cards are free and can be used at 12 libraries in Lehigh and Carbon counties.

Do you have books that are gently read that you would like to donate to the library? We are happy to accept them. We also accept DVDs and CDs. For your safety, drop them off at the circulation desk during open hours.

The library’s hours are 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
