A report of mail theft from the Coplay Post Office, 918 Chestnut St., was investigated.

A burglar alarm in the 1000 block of Chestnut Street brought police to the scene.

A welfare check was conducted in the unit block of South Front Street.

An Instagram scam was reported to the department. It was referred to Whitehall police.

APRIL 1

Police investigated a reported assault in the unit block of North Second Street.

The department heard from a resident in the 100 block of South Sixth Street who sold a motorcycle but had not yet received payments.

Officers responded to a report of theft in the 200 block of Chestnut Street.

A disturbance in the area of North Fourth and Chestnut streets brought police to the scene.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police with a traffic stop in the unit block of Fourth Street, North Catasauqua.

APRIL 3

Police investigated a landlord problem in the 200 block of Coplay Street.

A reckless driver in the area of North Eighth and Chestnut streets was handled by police.

The department responded to a motor vehicle accident at North Sixth and Chestnut streets.

The department received a call about camping and bonfires on the trails between the Coplay-Northampton Bride and the Cementon-Northampton Bridge.
