CMS News: Roughies of the Month are named
Congratulations to the Catasauqua Middle School April Roughies of the Month.
The honored students are Annabella Gentile, fifth grade; Yash Patel, sixth grade; Kaylianna Gruver, seventh grade; and Elio Issa, eighth grade.

The CMS parent-teacher forum dance is set for 6:30-8:30 p.m. April 28. The event is Hawaiian themed.

PSSA testing continues.
The ELA perfect attendance reward for students is April 28.
The schedule includes math testing for fifth through eighth grades May 1 and 2. Science testing for eighth grade is May 3 and 4.

The CMS Achievement Night is scheduled for 7-8 p.m. May 4.

The last class meeting for the 2022-23 school year will be May 9.

There will be early dismissal May 10. CMS students will be dismissed 12:20 p.m.

CMS counselors will visit with fourth-grade Sheckler Elementary School students May 10 to help ease the transition into middle school.

The CMS and Catasauqua High School choral concert is planned for 7 p.m. May 10.
The joint CMS/CHS instrumental concert will be 7 p.m. May 11.
Both concerts will be held in the CHS auditorium.

Students in grades 4-9 can register for Lehigh Career and Technical Institute’s Camp LCTI, set for 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. June 20-23.
Registration is only $100 for CASD students. CASD students who sign up by April 30 will get a free camp shirt.
