Catasauqua American Legion Post 215, 330 Second St., will host a concert by Kim and the Clairvoyants 7-10 p.m. April 29. The kitchen will be open.

Catasauqua Garden Club meets May 3 at Slovak Center Social Club, 1233 Fifth St., North Catasauqua. The meeting begins 1 p.m.

It will be interesting and exciting as the group will tap into the experience of club members with a floral arranging workshop. Members will display entries for horticultural and artistic judging.

Arrangements will be finalized for the annual plant sale, scheduled for May 20 at the Public Library of Catasauqua. Stay tuned for more information.

Whitehall Active Community Center, 2301 Pine St., West Catasauqua, will celebrate its sixth anniversary 11 a.m. May 5. There will be light refreshments of finger foods, cake and beverages.

The center was organized in 2017 and incorporated in 2019. Membership has grown over the last two years. The center invites anyone from the Whitehall area, as well as all of Lehigh County.

It offers exercise classes taught by Silver Sneaker-certified instructors. Classes include chair yoga, chair strength and balance, Tai Chi and advanced Tai Chi, plus a class provided by Transform Rehab called Bodies, Bands and Bells.

Lunch is served daily 11:30 a.m. for a small donation.

The center offers free monthly movies, monthly crafts, weekly bingo and a cash bingo the fourth Sunday of the month. The center also plans visits to Pines Dinner Theater a couple times a year.

Come out and see what the senior center is all about.
