Upper Milford Township supervisors discussed the Nonnemacher Farm Preservation Appraisal during their April 6 meeting.

The property, located at 4246 Main Road West, has several natural resource features. It is also adjacent to agricultural preserves.

The preservation appraisal was discussed at a joint meeting with Lehigh County Feb 22.

Lehigh County will be responsible for the surveying of the land and the proposal.

Funding for the project would be shared with the county providing $44,960 and $89,920.66 from the township.

A motion was passed to send the conservation appraisal for further review and recommendations with the township’s open space committee.

Odys Draklellis resigned from the pension committee due to time constraints related to work obligations. His wife, Jennifer Draklellis, was appointed to replace him.

Luke Lichtenwalner was nominated as 2023 chairman of the planning commission on April 3. Anthony Koneski Jr. is vice chair and Dr. Charles Peters Jr. is secretary.
