Salisbury Elementary School will celebrate Earth Day by encouraging students and staff to wear green, blue and white attire April 21.
The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley, 2845 Center Valley Parkway, Center Valley, will celebrate Earth Day April 22 with an event noon to 4 p.m. There will be a plant potting station, an earth bath bomb station and a seed bomb station all throughout the mall. Come check it out.
The next two T-shirt days at Salisbury Elementary School are April 21 and May 5.
The English and Language Arts section of the Pennsylvania System of School Assessment will be April 24-26 for third and fourth grades and April 25-27 for fifth through eighth grades. The math section of the PSSA will be May 1 and 2 for third and fourth grades and May 2 and 3 for fifth through eighth grades. Lastly, the science section will be May 3 and 4 for fourth grade and May 4 and 5 for eighth grade.
The Salisbury High School Spring Choral and Instrumental concert will be 7-8:30 p.m. May 2 in the high school auditorium.
Curbside branch collection has begun in Salisbury Township. Branches should be put by the curb the week of April 17-21. Branches cannot be longer than 5 feet and more than 5 inches in diameter. They can be tied with twine or in an open container without a lid.

The Salisbury Yard Waste Drop-off sites will open for the season starting in April. The Franko site will be open April 20, 22 and May 1 and Devonshire will be open April 24, 27 and 29. As always, hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.
