The East Penn Conference had nine players selected to the Pennsylvania Writers’ All-State football teams.

The nine players spanned across classes 4A, 5A and 6A with Central Catholic leading the way with four selections in 4A, including Ethan Hosak (LB), Caiden Shaffer (Athlete), Griffin Patridge (LB) and Jareel Calhoun (WR).

Central made the deepest run of all local schools in the PIAA tournament reaching the semifinals before losing to Aliquippa.

Whitehall running back Nigel Linton was named to the 5A team, and the 6A contingent consisted of Freedom’s Owen Johnson (LB), Gryffin Mitstifer (Parkland, K), Dylan Darville (Emmaus, WR) and Sean Kinney (Nazareth, OL).
