Gerald B. “Jerry” Schalter Jr., 57, of Schnecksville, died Easter morning, April 9, 2023, in his home.

He and his wife, Wendy S. (Reynolds) Schalter, were married 26 years.

Born Oct. 1, 1965, in Allentown, he was the son of Elizabeth A. (Stellar) Schalter of Alburtis and the late Gerald B. Schalter Sr.

He was the general sales manager of Haldeman Ford Lincoln, Allentown, for 34 years before retiring in 2021.

He adored his children and was extremely proud of their accomplishments.

He also loved hiking, pool time, playing his guitars, attending concerts and grilling for family and friends.

In addition to his loving wife and mother, he is survived by children Nathan G. and Rileigh L. Schalter, both at home; stepson Benjamin M. Moharter (Shelby) of Norristown; and siblings Lisa M. Hendricks (Blair) of Alburtis and Jason E. Schalter of Topton.
