Whitehall Active Community Center, 2301 Pine St., West Catasauqua, will hold bingo April 23. All are welcome.

The start time of the cash bingo is changing to 1 p.m., with doors opening noon.

Bingo will continue with a tricky tray, 50/25/25 raffle, piggy number, lightning game, etc.

There will be refreshments available for purchase.

Whitehall Active Community Center will celebrate its sixth anniversary 11 a.m. May 5.

There will be light refreshments of finger foods, cake and beverages.

The center was organized in 2017 and incorporated in 2019. Membership has grown over the last two years. The center invites anyone from the Whitehall area, as well as all of Lehigh County.

It offers exercise classes taught by Silver Sneaker-certified instructors. Classes include chair yoga, chair strength and balance, Tai Chi and advanced Tai Chi, plus a class provided by Transform Rehab called Bodies, Bands and Bells.

Lunch is served daily 11:30 a.m. for a small donation.

The center offers free monthly movies, monthly crafts, weekly bingo and a cash bingo the fourth Sunday of the month.

Come out and see what the senior center is all about - the best kept secret in Whitehall.

Whitehall Active Community Center is planning an outing to the Pines Dinner Theater to see “Route 66” May 24. All are welcome.

There is a cost, which includes the show and dinner with a choice of five entrees, plus dessert and beverage.
