Any senior who is undecided about post-graduation plans is encouraged to attend a session April 24 to update his or her resume and sharpen his or her interview skills in preparation for a panel visit from area employers, an event assembled by Career Link.

Confirmed companies coming to the Whitehall High School event, set for 1-2:45 p.m. May 9, are Fellowship Community, Lehigh Valley Health Network, Tyber Medical, Lafarge, HNL and Reeb Millwork.

Juniors and seniors will be offered testing from the ASVAB career exploration program in April and May to help guide interested students in matching their skills to postsecondary planning. ASVAB assessment results can be used as one measure for meeting the alternate assessment pathway if a student achieves a score of at least 31. Students who are interested in a branch of the military may use the ASVAB to measure their aptitude in certain skills.

Students must be in grades 11 or 12 and at least 16 years old to participate in ASVAB testing.
