Catasauqua: Salem United Church of Christ plans flea market, basket raffle
Salem United Church of Christ, 615 Third St., will be holding a flea market and basket raffle 9 a.m.-2 p.m. April 22.
Featured is a fantastic basket raffle, lots of good food, delicious goodies at the bake sale, famous pickled beets and a book sale on the main floor. There will also be loads of flea market treasures in the basement. Flea market sales are by donation.

Catasauqua American Legion Post 215, 330 Second St., will be holding its last all-you-can-eat breakfast of the season 8 a.m.-noon April 23. Come out for all your favorites - scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, French toast, SOS, juice, coffee and tea.

St. Mary’s Church, 122 Union St., will be holding its spring cash bingo 1 p.m. April 23 in the parish center. There will be 15 games, six specials and a cash jackpot round. Seating is first come, first served.
The kitchen and doors open 11:30 a.m. Snack foods and hot food will be provided. No outside food or beverages are permitted.
Additional game sheets and specials will be available for purchase. Bring your daubers but no hard boards.

Whitehall Active Community Center, 2301 Pine St., West Catasauqua, will hold bingo April 23. Note, the start time of the cash bingo is changing to 1 p.m., with doors opening noon.
Bingo will continue with tricky tray, 50/25/25 raffle, piggy number, lightning game, etc. There will be refreshments available for purchase.
Bring a nonperishable food item for Whitehall Food Pantry.

Whitehall Active Community Center is planning an outing to the Pines Dinner Theater to see “Route 66” May 24. There are a few tickets remaining.
There is a cost, which includes the show and dinner, with a choice of five entrees plus dessert and a beverage.
