Help American Red Cross save lisves through our SOUND THE ALARM campaign! We will be sharing fire-safety tips and installing free smoke alarms throughout Allentown, PA. Everything is provided, and you will be working alongside experienced Red Cross volunteers. This event will be held rain or shine from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 6. Volunteers are needed in shifts from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. for set-up and food prep, and 12:30 p.m. – 5 p.m. for game time tasks and breakdown. Minimum age 12 with adult. Great opportunity to deliver meals with a friend or family member or for team building with co-workers! Pick up meals at Asbury UMC in west Allentown between 10 & 10:30 a.m. and deliver on one of five routes serving clients in and around downtown Allentown. In 60 to 90 minutes, provide nutritious meals to 7 to 12 clients per route.
