Upper Milford Township supervisor seeks re-elections

Joyce Moore, originally elected to the Upper Milford Township board of supervisors in November 2017, recently announced she will run for re-election.

Currently serving as the chair of the Upper Milford Township board of supervisors, Moore is in her sixth year on the board, according to a recent news release.

Moore also works with the Upper Milford Township Pension and Agriculture Security boards.

Moore runs a financial advisory practice in the township, in business for 32 years. She has two adult children and is active in many civic organizations.

In her next term, Moore plans to continue to prioritize farmland and open space preservation, maintain fiscal restraint to keep taxes low and focus on supporting volunteer fire companies in the township.

“I am excited to continue serving my neighbors,” Moore said in the news release.

“I am proud of what I have been a part of accomplishing for our township, but there is more to do. We must continue to preserve our way of life through open space preservation, fiscal responsibility, and public safety.”
