Thomas “TJ” J. Tassi Jr., 44, of Schnecksville, died peacefully April 5, 2023, in his home.

Formerly from Catasauqua and born in Allentown, he was the son of Thomas J. Tassi Sr. and Monica A. (Patachinka) Tassi.

He was the partner in life with Jennifer L. Jacobs for 24 years.

A 1996 graduate of Catasauqua High School, he was a machinist.

An avid hunter and angler, he enjoyed cooking and grilling.

Above all, a devoted father to his son, Jakob T. Tassi, he always put family first.

He will be lovingly remembered and missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

In addition to his parents, partner in life and son, he is survived by his sister Tara A. Tassi; nieces and nephews; godchildren; and large extended family and many friends.

There will be graveside visitation 10-11 a.m. April 13 at St. Lawrence Cemetery, North Catasauqua.

His funeral service will immediately follow at 11 a.m.
