The Liberty Hurricanes won consecutive tennis matches when they defeated Whitehall, 7-0, on April 5 and Nazareth, 7-0, on April 6.
In Liberty’s match at Whitehall, Roman Farhad won at first singles, 6-0, 6-1, David Broczkowski won at second singles, 6-1, 6-0, and Connor Ohl was a winner at third singles, 6-1, 6-1.
Chris Giannaris and Sid Tekumalla prevailed, 8-2, at first doubles, Matt Alter and Leo Babbin won at third doubles, 6-2, 6-0, and Caden Vermuelen and Micah Steck won at fourth doubles, 6-0, 6-0.
Jacksen Jobes and Elijah Quan won by forfeit and second doubles.
Taking on the Nazareth Blue Eagles, Farhad won, 7-6, 6-4, Luke Appleman won, 6-0, 6-0, and Broczkowski was also a winner, 6-2, 6-2.
Finn Brown and Connor Ohl teamed up at first doubles for an 8-2 victory, Giannaris and Tekumalla won at second doubles, 7-6(5), 6-4, Jobes and Quan were winners at third doubles, 3-6, 6-1, 6-1, and the pair of Alter and Brown won at fourth doubles, 2-6, 7-5, 10-2.
The Hurricanes will take on city rival Bethlehem Catholic on April 14 at the tennis courts on Illick’s Mill Road.
