Fritz Najarian announces bid for Lynn Twp supervisor

Fritz Najarian has announced his candidacy for Lynn Township supervisor.

“I am eager to be the Republican nominee to serve as your Lynn Township supervisor for the upcoming six-year term,” Najarian said. “My wife, Joyce, and I own and manage Snow Dog Farms in Kistler Valley.

“We have raised our two children - Amelia and Jacob - here in Lynn Township.

“Amelia and Jacob are both graduates of the Northwestern Lehigh School District.

The candidate says the Najarian family has owned farmland in Lynn for 50-plus years.

“I have lived on the family farms since 1973,” Najarian said. “As a graduate of Penn State with a degree in history, I am keenly aware of the significance of the diverse historical aspects in Lynn Township.

“In fact, a Moravian Cemetery dating from the 1750s exists on our farm.”

Najarian currently serves on both the Lynn Township Agricultural Security Committee and the Lynn Township Planning Commission.

“Additionally, I have been a regular attendee to the monthly meetings of the Lynn Township Board of Supervisors,” Najarian said. “As a member of the board, I would like to further serve our community by continuing to protect our rural neighborhood.

“Our residents are fortunate to live in Lynn Township’s rural community. We have purposely chosen to thrive here.

“The current board of supervisors have done an admiral job of leading Lynn Township and sustaining our rural roots.”

Najarian says protecting the family-owned farms is of the upmost importance to Lynn Township.

“Attentive planning to support their continued success will maintain Lynn’s rural character into the future,” Najarian said.

Additionally, Lynn is able to take advantage of its commercial zoning area along Route 309, he says.

“Thoughtful planning for future development in this corridor will support our residents, increase local business opportunities, and limit the influx of large corporate development,” Najarian said. “Fortunately, Lynn Township is not currently facing any substantial controversy.

“The current leadership has administered the township well. Our local government is elected to serve our residents.

“As we move into the future, I strongly trust that common sense, combined with a mutual dialogue, will guide Lynn Township’s progress.”
