Egypt Memorial Park, 4548 Main St., is holding a hoagie sale through April 14.
Go to egyptpark.org and click Hoagie Order for Spring 2023. Complete the order form and drop it off 5:30-7:30 p.m. April 14 at the park’s snack stand.
Pick up your order 5:30-7:30 p.m. April 19 in the pavilion.

It’s time to register your children for Egypt park’s field hockey, T-ball and softball teams.
Registration for field hockey for children in kindergarten through age 10 will close 2 p.m. April 14. The field hockey season runs through May 21.
Coed T-ball registration for children ages 4-6 closes 8 a.m. April 23. The T-ball season runs through Oct. 31.
Register your 5- to 18-year-old child for softball by 4 p.m. May 1. The softball season runs through Oct. 31.

The youth group of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 4331 Main St., Egypt, will host an April 16 penny party. Doors will open 11:30 a.m., and the game begins 12:30 p.m.
The group will offer more than 200 items for bid, as well as two basket raffles. Food will be available for purchase.

The band, Subject to Changes, will perform 7-10 p.m. April 21 at Egypt Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7293, 5209 Springmill Road.
The kitchen will open 5 p.m.
Guests are welcome when accompanied by an active member. There is a small charge for guests.

Whitehall Township Historical Society is sponsoring a historical walking tour of Egypt, to be held 10 a.m. April 22.
The tour, which begins at Egypt Community Church, 4129 S. Church St., will cover 1.3 miles and last approximately 2.5 hours.
There is no cost to WHPS members. A small donation is requested of all other participants.

There is a Civil War re-enactment and encampment planned for 10 a.m.-7 p.m. April 29 and again 10 a.m.-2 p.m. April 30 at Whitehall Parkway, 4689 S. Church St.

Whitehall Lions Club is running a sneaker fundraiser in April and May.
Do you have any gently worn, used or new sneakers to donate? Donated sneakers will raise funds to support Lions Club programs and help protect the environment by keeping the sneakers out of landfills.
Drop your discarded sneakers in the collection bin at Whitehall Township Public Library, 3700 Mechanicsville Road.

Egypt Fire Company, 4099 Kuhn Lane, is recruiting volunteer firefighters. Men, women and youth ages 14 and up are invited to apply at the fire station Mondays after 6:30 p.m.
