Republican Jason Donohue is running for a Northampton Borough Council seat representing the fourth ward.
He currently works for Whitehall Township as an equipment operator. Earlier, he served as an emergency vehicle technician for more than 15 years.
“I would be honored and humbled to represent the citizens of not only the fourth ward of Northampton, but also the entire borough as your councilman,” Donohue said.
Donohue said he has assisted Mayor Anthony Pristash with cleaning up Canal Park. He also attends crime watch meetings “to keep up with issues the police are dealing with and offer ideas to help them continue to keep the borough safe,” he added.
Additionally, Donohue reported he has attended all council meetings since 2021 to keep informed on borough projects and issues.
“I would bring new ideas to the table that I would think will help the borough to continue to move forward,” Donohue said.
He and his wife, Jenn, have been married for 22 years and have lived in Northampton’s fourth ward for 21 years. They have two children - Brian and Alex.
