Catasauqua: Come out to Catty Eats Fest event at municipal park

Catty Eats Fest will be 11 a.m.-3 p.m. April 15 at Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St. There will be live music, food trucks, local restaurant specials and adult beverages, as well as vendors and opportunities to shop local.

The Friends of Catasauqua Parks group will be holding bingo 2-5 p.m. April 16 at Catasauqua American Legion Post 215, 330 Second St. Doors open 1 p.m.

Food will be available for purchase.

Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua, 210 Pine St., will be holding its monthly free community lunch 11 a.m.-1 p.m. April 17. Come on out for some great food and camaraderie.

The Morning Glories of Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 Fourth St., will next meet 10 a.m. April 17.

Pink Heals Lehigh Valley Executive Director Bill Andress will be the speaker. Show your support by wearing something pink.

Friends of Catasauqua Parks will next meet 6:30 p.m. April 19 at Catasauqua Municipal Complex, 90 Bridge St. The group will continue to meet the third Wednesday of the month.

The mission of the group is to improve the quality of life of Catasauqua residents through recreational fundraising events to sustain our parks.

The group is always looking for new volunteers/members. There is no cost or dues to pay to join.
