Salisbury Township schools closed for spring break April 6, 7 and 10

It is time to register for the next Salisbury Township School District parent workshop. Supporting Students with IEPs through Community Resources will be held at Salisbury Middle School 6 p.m. April 13. An IEP is an individualized education program. If your student has one, this is a great resource. Speakers from the Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit 21, the Office of Intellectual Disabilities and the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation will be on hand and Catherine Riley will speak of her journey with Down syndrome.

Salisbury Township schools will be closed for spring break April 6, 7 and 10.

The next two T-shirt days at Salisbury Elementary School are April 5 and 21. April 17 is a Falcon Proud day so wear your Salisbury attire.

On April 12, there will be an operations committee meeting 7 p.m. with a finance committee meeting immediately following 8 p.m. in the administration building.

On April 19, a curriculum and technology meeting will be held 7 p.m. with a school board meeting immediately following 8 p.m. also in the administration building.

Save the date for Salisbury Township’s Night at the IronPigs 7:05 p.m. June 29. The registration form is on the township website and must be completed and returned to the township building with payment no later than May 17. The Salisbury yard waste drop-off sites will open for the season starting in April.

The Franko site will be open April 6, 8 and 17 and Devonshire will be open April 10, 13 and 15. As always, hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.
