The Salisbury boys tennis team went 1-1 last week.
The Falcons (2-2 overall, 1-1 Colonial League) opened the week with a 5-0 win over Jim Thorpe last Tuesday, March 21. Singles players Nolan Grejda, Tristan Monahan and Jacob Knerr all won in straight sets, while the Falcons’ only doubles team that took the court, Mo Sulieman and Ahmed Sulieman, won 6-0, 6-0. The other doubles match was forfeited by the Olympians.
Salisbury dropped its next match 5-0 to Saucon Valley last Thursday. Knerr came close to pulling out his team’s only win but dropped a 10-8 tiebreaker set after winning the first set 6-4 then losing the second one 6-3.
