Boy Scout Troop 79 of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church is currently holding its annual Easter flower sale in the church hall, Ruch and Chestnut streets.

The sale is planned for 9 a.m.-6 p.m. April 6 and 7 and starts 8 a.m. April 8.

The Scouts always have a beautiful array of colorful flowers to choose from. Support the Scouts and make someone’s Easter a little brighter by gifting them a gorgeous flower.

AARP Chapter 3115 invites members and guests to its meeting April 11 at the Schadt Avenue playground building, 1975 Schadt Ave., Whitehall.

Doors open noon. Enjoy an afternoon of fun and fellowship.

A lunch of hamburger barbecue sandwiches with salad and dessert will available at a small cost. Lunch will be served approximately 12:30 p.m.

A speaker will be featured, informing members and guests about the types of investment and estate planning suitable for seniors. Also, the group will discuss travel plans for its upcoming day trips.
