Catasauqua Area School District is hiring an elementary music teacher. Applications are open until April 7.

Students resume normal schedules April 11 following spring break.

PSSA testing will be coming to Sheckler Elementary School at the end of April. More information on testing days is to come.

Sheckler’s second-grade concert is set for 7 p.m. April 19.

There is also a school art walk 5:30-6:30 p.m. the same day.

Catasauqua will be offering a youth football camp free of charge for students in grades K-7.

The camp will run noon-1:30 p.m. April 30, May 7 and 21 at Alumni Field.

CASD fourth-grade students are eligible for Lehigh Career & Technical Institute’s summer camp for STEAM career exploration. The camp runs 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. June 20-23.

The cost is $100 per student, which includes a $150 discount for CASD students only.
