Audrey J. Gruver, 95, of Cementon, died March 19, 2023.

Born in Cementon, she was a daughter of the late Harry R. and Ruth G. (Peters) Gruver.

She was a graduate of Whitehall High School, Kutztown State College and Lehigh University.

She was a reading specialist in Allentown School District for more than 40 years.

She was a member of Alpha Delta Kappa sorority for women educators.

She was a member of the former St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Cementon.

She is survived by a nephew, Randy R. Teets and his wife Cindi; a niece, Lois H. and her husband Dennis C. Hower; two great-nieces, Sarah R. Teets and Juliet L. Hower, both of Whitehall; a great-nephew, Jeff A. Teets of Whitehall; a stepnephew, Daniel C. Hower and his wife Melanie of Bristol; and a special friend, Sandy Bachman of Allentown.

She was predeceased by a nephew, Jeffrey T. Teets. Her sister, Hope L. Gruver, died three days after her.

Services were private.
